Subscription Terms

These Subscription Terms supplement Section 4 of our Terms of Service. If anything here conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control.

Plans

• 3-DAY FREE TRIAL. Every new plan starts with a 3-day free trial. Subscriptions then auto-renew monthly or annually through your Apple Account, and you can cancel anytime in iOS Settings before the trial ends. There is no free plan and no free tier: once your trial ends, every part of the app — including the Swimmer Journeys library — requires an active subscription. The only exception is our crisis and safety information, which stays available to everyone at all times because it is safety content, not a product feature.
• GOAT MODE PLUS — $4.99/month or $39.99/year. Unlimited AI Coach, the full Lessons Library and Swimmer Journeys, Champion Perspectives, Box & Comedown Breathing, guided Race Visualization with one saved script, unlimited Voice Journal, daily check-ins with your check-in trend chart and journal insights, and full journal history.
• GOAT MODE PRO — $9.99/month or $79.99/year. Everything in Plus, plus: Race Center (the whole race tab — race primer, meet plans and debriefs, and the race-day tools), the 4-week Race-Day Routine program, unlimited saved Race Visualization scripts, the Taper Week Companion (guided 7-day meet countdown), the advanced progress views — Score Trend, PB Timeline and Milestone Badges — your Mindset DNA snapshot, and the opt-in Recovery trend. The Recovery trend can draw on two sources: Apple Health on iOS (sleep, HRV and resting heart rate) and a real read-only WHOOP API integration (recovery score, day strain, sleep performance and duration, HRV and resting heart rate). Both are optional, revocable at any time, and used only for your recovery trend, the burnout pattern indicator and AI Coach context. Choice of AI Coach personality style is planned, not yet available.

Plans and prices may change. Current pricing is shown before you pay, and price increases affecting existing subscribers are announced in advance.

How Billing Works

Subscriptions are currently available only inside the GOAT MODE iOS app, as Apple In-App Purchases. Apple is the seller of record: Apple charges your Apple Account and handles renewals, cancellations and refunds. There is no web checkout — you cannot subscribe in a browser, and we do not take card payments on our website. Prices are shown by the App Store in your local currency before you confirm. We never see or store your card details.

There are no coach-purchased multi-seat plans. Clubs are supported through App Store offer codes: every swimmer subscribes individually to Plus or Pro, at a discounted price if their coach has been issued codes. Coaches who want codes for their squad can email hello@goatmode.app.

Renewal

Your subscription auto-renews monthly or annually through your Apple Account until you cancel, and can be canceled any time up to 24 hours before the renewal date. Failed renewal payments may be retried by Apple; continued failure may result in loss of access to Plus/Pro features until payment succeeds or you resubscribe.

Promotions and Discount Codes

We may offer promotional or discount codes as App Store offer codes. Discounted pricing applies only for the stated period, after which standard pricing resumes.

Changing or Canceling Your Plan

You can upgrade anytime from the in-app pricing screen. To cancel, use iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → GOAT MODE — cancellation is handled entirely by Apple. Details are in Refunds & Cancellations.

Taxes

Any applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated and collected by Apple at purchase, based on the billing location on your Apple Account.
